As part of Christ's body we are seeking to reach out in the area, providing friendship and acts of service that we trust will benefit individuals, families and the neighbourhood. We are also involved in local school assemblies and classes and meet with local town Councilors periodically.

Our church building is a resource that is used by different community and Christian groups for the elderly, parenting classes, play practices or private functions.
"When my mother died, the Church reached out to me and became my family"
"I know God has worked through the prayers of this church"

Each year we join with 100+ other volunteers to take part in The Noise project, offering practical help to neighbours, such as decorating, gardening, litter clearing, lunch clubs, graffiti cleaning, children and youth activities, car washing etc.
We also support The Soup Bowl (to help feed the homeless), Burrswood (a Christian Healing Hospital Centre), Crisis Recovery (a ten step programme to overcome adversity) and a Christian Debt Advice Centre in town.
With the support of local police and councilors we are also involved with a Street Pastors Initiative which reaches out to the 3-4,000 young people who come into town on weekends to visit pubs or night clubs.
